the depths is paused (indefinitely) while we build something new.
Stay tuned
Thank you so much for being a member of the depths. We hope it has brought something more to your days these past few months.
We’ve spent many nights as a team reflecting on the ways we can best support the vision behind mcosm. We’ve also begun to welcome some new members to our team who will help expand how much we can bring to you. Because that’s what this platform exists to do—bring a little more depth to your life.
That’s why we’re so excited to announce, in the coming weeks, a couple of new developments. While it’s too early to go into specifics, these new parts of what we do will transform the ways you can engage with this work.
But with that comes a need to focus our attention on these new areas, and build on the reason mcosm was founded in the first place. Which means saying goodbye, for now, to the depths.
We spent a long time considering whether to add more features and expand the depths (our original plan), or focus more heavily on these new developments—which will add a completely different dimension to this.
Weighing feedback from you, the strengths of our team, and what feels right, we determined the second option was the much more important one.
With that, we are announcing an indefinite pause to the depths platform. If you’re a subscriber, you will retain access to what’s already there through the end of the month, after which that part of the site will go offline.
We can’t stress enough: this was an incredibly difficult decision to make. But once you see what’s coming, it will also become clear: this was the right decision to make sure mcosm lives up to its potential—and its commitment to living deeply—for you and the world.
With gratitude,
the mcosm team
See you in the next journal issue ❤️
